Superintendent of the Botanical and

Forestry Department to give effective

supervision to the forestry work necessary

in the Colony. Should you decide to

pursue this suggestion I shall be obliged

if you will communicate direct with the

Governor of the Straits Settlements and

the High Commissioner for the Malay States

with a view to securing the loan of the

services of a suitable officer. I enclose
